Natives of the Altiplano have shorn llama fleece for 6,000 years. In addition to its phenomenal performance and comfort, llama fleece is one of the most sustainable and low-impact products on earth. It’s a product with far-reaching benefits—for the planet, for conscientious consumers, and especially for the growers and artisans of the Andes.

The Facts
#1
Less Laundry
Llama-fleece garments don’t retain odors and require infrequent laundering, so they use less water than other fibers. They don’t carry static electricity and don’t attract and hold dirt and lint.
#2
Naturally Harvested
Llama fleece is 100% natural and is harvested with minimal impact on the environment and no harm to the llamas that produce it.
#3
No Petroleum
No petroleum products are used in production or added as a fiber substrate. Biodegradable and organic compounds are used in processing.
